This policy explains how VegoFresh (“we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through vegofresh.com. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you send a route assessment request we receive the details you type into the form:
- name and business email;
- company, product or category, origin, destination and estimated shipment volume;
- any notes you add about how you ship today.
If you subscribe to route notes we receive your email address. To protect the forms from abuse we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address and the page the form was sent from. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
How we use it
- to reply to your request, assess the crop and route, and prepare a trial or export proposal;
- to send route notes and cold-chain guides, only if you subscribed;
- to keep the website secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Requests are visible to our team. We use service providers to host the site and deliver email, and we may share the details of a request with technical or logistics partners when that is needed to assess your route. Data may be processed in countries other than your own.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security services may set strictly necessary cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep request details for as long as they are needed to handle your enquiry and the business relationship that follows, and then delete or anonymise them. You can unsubscribe from route notes at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to its use, or to withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond.
